Residents living in the Woodforest Community subdivision of Kinderwood are requesting a proactive effort from the Montgomery County Precinct 2 to mitigate that risk of incidents on Kinderwood Trail street.  Kinderwood has one of the most densely populated areas in the community crossing the Kinderwood Trail each day without stop signs or cross walks to slow or encourage motor vehicle operators to reduce speed.  Subdivision residents access the main sidewalks leading to parks and other community places of interest only by crossing this busy street with no caution/warnings given to traffic goers.  The loop creates blind spots throughout the entire drive in either direction and has low visibility for pedestrians and motor vehicle operators.

The community residents are requesting the use of stop signs to be installed in strategic places to encourage motor vehicle operators to slow down and/or prepare to stop where school bus stops, cross walks, and other points of access to the main sidewalk trails in the subdivision occur.  Help us create awareness amongst those commuting through the division to access homes in or past the Kinderwood subdivision to create a safer environment for all those living in the community.
