Make the Intersection of Front and Bridge Street a 3-Way Stop or Stoplight

The intersection of Front Street and Bridge Street on the border of Dumbo and Vinegar Hill is unsafe.
Currently, there is only one stop sign, for vehicles traveling on Front Street, but construction vehicles, dumpsters, and the many cars and trucks that park on the corner outside Bridge Coffee Shop make it difficult for pedestrians to see oncoming traffic on Bridge Street. The recent repaving of Bridge Street has led to much faster traffic, increasing the danger. Additionally, Front Street is the busier thoroughfare, and drivers are often confused about the right-of-way.
A three-way stop or stoplight at the corner, with crosswalks on both Bridge and Front, would greatly improve safety.
While reviewing the area, The DOT should also consider making the corner of Gold and Front a 3-way stop.
