I am a life long Independent voter. Any candidate for President must be able to stand on his/her own two feet and face the American people, address their concerns and defend his/her position without props or gimmicks. The Democratic Party candidate has been largely absent from the public stage. When he does surface, his pronouncement have been staged and choreographed and lack substance. He will not have this luxury if he has to face Presidents Xi or Putin or any world leader, friend or foe. For the sake of our democracy, the real Joe Biden must stand up and convince the American public that he is up for the job of Commander in Chief.
