Stop Lifting of Two Wheelers by Nagpur Traffic Police from roadside .

Many places do not have proper No Parking Boards. Due to lack of adequate Parking space provided by Civic Authorities & the shopkeepers , public is confused about where to park. Since the lifting of  vehicles supposedly wrongly Parked is outsourced to Private Contractors, their workers lift vehicles, load them in Trucks & unload at farway Police Stations. To earn more money for lifting charges, they may overdo the same. The vehicle owners are put to grave shock when they come to know that their vehicle is missing. Even somebody may suffer a heart attack. Their is no authorised person to tell or chalk written board to show Registration No. of Vehicle so lifted & direct the owners to exact Police station. The information is indirectly given by some shop keeper or Pan thelewala. Is is not possible to improve this crude method & devise some Smart Method? e.g. putting a sticker with Mobile no. to contact, take photo with vehicle no. & location.A chain Lock can be put as a jammer is put on a four wheeler. Collect fine on the spot by cash with receipt or swapping machine. Since Nagpur is declared upcoming Smart City & it is Maharashtra Chief Minister's home town, this cruel method must be stopped  immediately. Traffic Police lifting vehicles without the knowledge of its owner is like a theft & must not be committed by Police. What is the guarantee that vehicles so lifted by workers of a Private Contractor will be safely unloaded at the Police station? It is further  requested that instead of putting insignificant "No Parking" Boards,  "Park Here" Boards be displayed prominently. This will make the Civic Authorities, Police & Shop Keepers aware about  hardships of Public.
