We as Residents are looking to gain a better Internet service. Mountain falls has only a limited access to internet services. Most of them are Satellite services that charge far too much for far too little. With streaming services being so prevalent in comparison to the use of tv.  It makes it hard to watch streaming services as well (i.e Netflix, Hulu, etc) Netflix let alone is one of the highest use of bandwidth and multiple tv's running at once causes a lot of loading issues in the house hold on top of their phones being connected as well.

Satellite has such a limited amount offered monthly, and then they charge you a lot for going over a monthly cap for such a limited service. Then we get to the home owners/renters that are unable to be offered an internet service. If they are fortunate enough they can use a hot spot with some to little success as well and still most hot spot providers have a data cap on them as well.

With the 1000+ people in the community and the ever growing community Comcast would benefit many as well as flourish. Mountain Falls would benefit as well with the Younger couples coming to buy the more affordable homes, the dues will help with road work and community upkeep. People who work from home have will a better more reliable connection, families who have members that play video games will benefit as well. Kids of ALL AGES that need internet for their schooling, Even Young Adults that are in college! With technology these days and the amount of appliances and electronics that require internet connection for updates to firmware. Another issue people experience in the area is theft, and a lot of surveillance cameras use Internet connection. I have watched and noticed so many new owners or renters looking for a great service.  With Comcast only being 5 miles from us in Shawneeland we would like to see a real provider enter the area with a better more consistent connection. I believe Comcast is what the community needs.

It has been a while since I talked about our internet options. I have had a lot of personal life things happening. But I wanted to bring this to everyone's attention.
If you are like me and keep up with internet deals and options like I do,  Broadband has a deal with Frederick County, Virginia to be rolling out.
If you have NOT signed it already.
Think about the past 2 years, So many people scoffed when I proposed the idea of getting an actual reliable internet connection up here. Think about when Covid began and You were forced to work from home with almost no connectivity, So many people lost their jobs due t no ability for connection options or slow connection because everyone in the house was on the internet. Or think about when your kids had to do virtual learning and how much of a hurdle that was! This is the reality of todays world, We here in Mountain Falls (Wilde Acres) This community is growing, and gaining more and more houses being built and families coming up here. This is a good opportunity. As of October 10th, 2022. I have gone around the neighborhood and have seen 6 Homes being built.
