If the Greenway comes down the East side of Long Road it will affect houses and businesses that have been there hundreds of years but if it comes down the West side then it will be a safer route for cyclists, pedestrians and horses  as it will not cross any driveways or the busy entrance to the campsite. The west side would also link up to the already existing bridleway straight down to the housing estate which will be the safer option as people will then not have to cross a busy main road to get to it. With the current planned route this will cause flooding to houses, encourage rural crime as they will have easy access onto land, will affect 6 different land owners rather than just 2 on the east side and many more problems. By having the Greenway coming down the West side of Long Road it can then link up to Branch Road making an easier and safer route into the village of Comberton as this leads straight to the doctors, dentist, schools, shop and all other amenities rather than leading straight down onto another busy main road at the mini roundabout.
