Andy Zaltzman is a talented comedian with a large international following through his podcast The Bugle, co-hosted by the voice of Vanity Smurf, John Oliver. The Smurfs franchise can only be improved by the inclusion of Andy's distinctive voice and comedic style, which would open up the film to a whole new audience. Also, as an established double act Andy and John would provide Vanity and Punmeister (working name, no copyright) with a warmth of friendship that audiences would lap up, and would inspire children to irritate their parents.
