As students I think we can all agree that music keeps us going. It keeps us happy and cheers us up when we need it. Unfortunately, Our tech team and teachers at Columbia Middle School have decided against this. It has been proven that music is better for us, the students. The University of Maryland Medical Center reveals that students should listen to music. "Music is an effective stress reducer in both healthy individuals and people with health problems. Research finds that listening to soothing music can decrease blood pressure, heart rate, and anxiety levels in heart patients” (UMD Medical Center).  It also can help some students focus on their work better. In conclusion, this petition is to gain spotify and potentially other music services back to us.
