Hey, everyone - thanks for visiting this page. And a very special thanks to it's creator, on my behalf, Mr. Bobby Cinque. OK - so in Jan. of this year I had my large intestine removed due to cancer and severe dysplasia, after suffering from Crohns disease for 24 years. I was told by health care professionals, social workers, "Ostomy team" members, etc ... that my life would be so much better after this surgery was performed. I don't find that to be the case, whatsoever, and I'd do anything to have my cancerous large intestine back, quite honestly. Due to years of medication to TRY and control the Crohns, my liver was slightly weakened and I now have a very rare disease of the liver bile ducts called PSC (Preliminary Schlerosing Cholangitis) - The top colorectal surgeons at the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine, NYU Medical Langone center, and various other surgeons I've conferenced with refuse to perform a colorectal/ileostomy reversal due to the "high risks" involved, that I might not make it out of the procedure (Morally and ethically bounded by the Doctors' Hippocratic Oath, which I entirely understand). I was told this twice for my past 2 major surgeries, and blew through them with flying colors. My liver is strong enough, because I know that I am. I assume all risk factors and liabilities involved, and will hold no one, Medical institution or surgeon, legally accountable should the worst come to past (I've instructed my family to honor my standpoint, as well). Anyone that has ever known me or not, I only ask for 30 seconds of your time, and please consider signing this petition for me, so that I hopefully may resume a normal lifestyle once again. Thank you much ... Stay strong - Mike.
