Luke Temple started this petition to Colorado State University Administration

Recently, the Coronavirus has spread throughout the United States at a very rapid rate and has now hit the State of Colorado. Colorado State University is located in Larimer County, where on March 9th one woman was confirmed to have the virus. The university needs to take immediate action to no longer require students to have appointment verifications (or doctors notes) to get a class excused. Many students who may feel sick still feel like they need to attend class in fear they will lose points. This is not only unfair to healthy students for risking their health, but also runs a huge risk of spreading the virus. It only takes one person to start a virus on a college campus, and if that happens, it can spread like wildfire. This petition will urge the administration of Colorado State University to let sick students stay home without any penalty, resulting in a safer campus and environment for all students
