Hello, I am making this, because I believe anyone in Colorado should have a right to own any kind of breed of dog, but the biggest name that gets put to shame is a pitbull, due to how the breed of dog is raised they tend to be aggressive. This isn’t the dogs fault but the owner, pitbulls don’t become aggressive out of nowhere, we all know a dog needs to be played with, walked, but most of all they need attention. Just like a kid needs attention to know they’re loved, and cared for. Animals need this as well. Social interaction with other animals  allows your pet to have a sense of what is around them. Walking your pet as well, allows the animal, to get a basic understanding of what is around them, I know what I’m asking may seem like a lot, but in reality we know losing a pet you’ve owned for a while is hard. Especially when you’ve started to grow a bond with them, not every animal is the same and we all know that, but not all of us know what they’re capable of when well maintained, all I ask for is for my voice to be heard, losing my pitbull was something, but realizing I’m not getting my dog back over a law makes no sense when I know, my dog is well maintained, cared for, and never has cause problems, The problem is always getting messed with because he is a pitbull. All I ask for is for your help so I can get what made me happy, this affects those who have lost their pets due to this ban, and it makes no sense, if someone can go around judging a dog based of the look, what gives anyone the right to judge you because of what you look like. Nobody, I’m 18, and losing what made me happy day to day, doesn’t make any sense to me because of one stupid action, and this is something I regret, not paying attention to when my dog got out of my house, this is my fault and I take on full responsibility, but because of this I’m losing all authority to my pet, to me this is like losing my own kid. I don’t find it just in anyway. The thought of your doing feeling like he’s being abandoned, because you can’t get you dog back doesn’t seem right. I hate the though of saying I’m sorry, I can’t do anything but we can, this is all I want please. Thank you for your time.
