For far too long Rockies fans have witnessed the same reoccurring nightmare: a Wade Davis blown save. As soon as we see Wade make his way out of the bullpen, all hope is lost. In 2019, Davis appeared in 50 games for the Rockies. In those 50 games he only managed to secure 15 saves, with a whopping 8.65 ERA and a 1-6 record. Last night against the Padres Wade was back doing what he does best, giving up 2 absolute tanks and walking 2 batters. All with 2 outs. This guy is an absolute joke and a disgrace to the Rockies organization and fans everywhere. A friend of mine told me last night that he would “rather see DUI Todd Helton close than Wade Davis” and that’s when I knew things have gotten out of hand. Enough is enough Rockies fans, I’m sick and tired of watching Wade hand over the game on a silver platter night after night. Let’s make our voices heard and give our team a chance to make a postseason run this year. GET WADE DAVIS OUT OF COLORADO!
