I am currently in the Custody of Larimer County Colorado DHS and had a motion put into the court to allow visitation with my siblings. My mother hired an attorney and got the case dismissed. It was dismissed because the Colorado sibling Bill of Rights does not specify what to do if the siblings are not part of the dependency and neglect case or they are not in foster care. I believe that is foster youth should be allowed to see our siblings even if they are still living at home or are not part of the D&N! My siblings have been the reason I’ve kept going and kept pushing through these hard times, but my parents are not allowing me to see them which is heart breaking for me! I would really appreciate your support.
