Collier County Public Schools are not requiring masks at school; however, students are not being allowed to host or attend a homecoming. The optional mask policy during the school day is unfairly instituted and is selective of student activities. Students of Collier County Public Schools are also unable to attend field trips if masks are required during the trip. This is a selective restriction that is not being evenly or fairly instituted. COVID has already stripped many high school students of their activities outside of school... this must not continue! Let us have a homecoming!
