There has been numerous crimes committed in the CityView complex as a result of being within a mile of prevalent criminal activity. There has been multiple house break-ins, carjacking, and stolen property. The residents of CityView are requesting surveillance of the area for increased safety of the complex, specifically security cameras to ensure that committed crimes can be dealt with accordingly and be reported to the police. As of right now, due to the lack of surveillance available, the residents of CityView are vulnerable to the prevalent criminal activity and feel as though their safety is being compromised.
