Schools direct a large portion of their funding towards places that need them less. Places like a new football field meanwhile they need knew books or desks.  Our petition goal would be to fund their money towards places that really need it. We're hoping that schools will direct funding towards infrastructure. For instance, better piping, better bathrooms, and generally keeping the building up to date. Schools should fix their infrastructure by the time we go back to school. It is not sanitary and not safe. At Uni the piping is outside of the walls and some of the bathroom stalls are short so someone would be able to see into your stall. There was one instance at Uni where the pipes burst and there was toilet water running down the stairs and it reach some of the classes that were located near their grove. That is super unsanitary. 

In conclusion, by signing this petition we are encouraging LAUSD to direct their funding towards the infrastructure of their schools.
