Morgan Wilson started this petition to College Students in Baltimore Area

Baltimore County has a law that no more than 2 unrelated persons can live together in off-campus housing. This law makes it much more difficult for students to find housing and for tenants to actually find renters in order to make money. This law is excessive as a lot of people may want to live with 3 or 4 people. I know this law is in place for the community, but this law could be affecting business and is limiting students options drastically. This forces students to either find farther locations that are inconvenient or stay in more expensive apartments when most college students are on a budget. This law also affects young adults who may be looking for places to rent together after graduating in order to save money. I say that the law should be revised to allow 4 unrelated persons to live together as this would be reasonable. 4 people are not going to cause any more harm than only 2 unrelated people living together. Baltimore city is no more than 4 unrelated persons, so why can’t Baltimore County be?
