I would like to solve this problem because both scooters and walking are vital to transportation on campus at the University of Texas at Austin. Scooters are very helpful to getting to class on time, however, they do add to the already heavy foot traffic in Austin, especially on Speedway when students are walking on campus. If Speedway were to have a scooter lane, it would help eliminate some traffic on Speedway as well as providing scooter riders a safer way to use scooters.
