Give these kids a break, don’t discriminate against charities

Premier Barnett has a new charity tax Bill now before the WA Parliament. He proposes to only give payroll tax breaks to employer charities and some others. I am proud to support Feed the Little Children Inc, which does great work in remote communities. But because it’s through our charity that I and my fellow union members support their work, these kids will get less. For the first time Barnett proposes to make these breaks unlawful for charities supported by working people through their union. Giving should be giving. This is discrimination, plain and simple. We've seen this before - when conservative governments in WA pass discriminatory and unfair laws, they spread. Show that you can give for giving by signing and sharing my petition among your friends now to change this new Bill before it’s too late.
