Stop Coles Collectibles

0 have signed. Let’s get to 200!

Coles collectible items are given to customers with a purchase of $30 or more, and are small replicas of normal branded items such as water bottles or shoe polish, but with no functionality. Rather, they serve as useless wastes of plastic that will definitely end up in landfills, once the craze amongst Australian consumers subsides. Coles admits the products are not made from recyclable materials, but they are convinced that the products will somehow "not end up in landfills".

We all know they will, and will eventually pose a threat to the environment and wildlife. In a 21st century, sustainability-focused environment, do we really want Coles products clogging up our already full landfills?
