Reduce plastic waste produced by Coles

Your stores hand out unwanted plastic toys. A lot of these items are meant to be collectables to encourage repeat customers. Firstly, these give aways are useless clutter. Secondly, they pose a choking hazard to children who may think they are candy (ie: stickiez). Lastly, these are a waste of plastic which ultimately end up adding to landfill.

Stop manufacturing these promotional giveaways and reduce plastic waste. These past couple of years grocery stores have shifted towards reducing plastic waste by charging customers for plastic bags. We as a society have adapted and accepted it. You, Coles, have gone the opposite direction and produce useless toys that waste plastic. We propose that you make use of that plastic and donate it all to Helping Hands foundation which takes plastic and turns it into prosthetics for children who need them.
