Protect Tara Hill as a centre of biodiversity in North Wexford.

Tara Hill is a well know land mark just north of Gorey. It has an ecosystem that sustains owls, buzzards, hares, newts, butterflies, insects, wild flowers, heathers, lichens and native trees, to name but a few. Coillte have recently clear felled large areas and put in extremely wide hardcore tracks, totally obliterating much biodiversity. We are asking Coillte and the Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment to ensure that going forward Tara Hill is protected from a repeat of such practices. We need to ensure future generations have the opportunity to connect with nature in calm, nurturing environments with thriving ecosystems and Tara Hill is ideally suited to such a purpose.
