Chrissie Charley started this petition to Coffs Coast & Bellingen Shire residents

Upstanding citizens of Coffs Coast and Bellingen Shire demand an immediate halt to all unlawful behaviour of the local police force. Extremely heavy-handed police behaviour in our region is NOT legitimate.

Coffs/Clarence police are breaching the following federal and international legislation, and as a result, we hold each offending police officer as complicit and consensual in their undertaking on the people of Australia, full names and unlawful enforcements captured in video, potentially rendering the offending police officer criminally liable under the Crimes Act 1914, as well as the Criminal Code Act 1995.

Legislation breach:

* Under the state of emergency, the emergency requirements are qualified and restricted by the significant fact that emergency requirements and directions cannot request an individual to be isolated, detained, tested, vaccinated, medically treated or bodily searched in the absence of a biosecurity control order issued to the individual, yet local police are fining and arresting good citizens with absolutely NO legal grounds and we are not standing for it. These measures are referred to as biosecurity measures and are captured under Subdivision B of Division 3 of Part 3 of Chapter 2 of the Biosecurity Act 2015.

(Emergency and public health powers, at the States and Territories, do not provide a carte blanche to breach an individual’s human rights by isolating them, or detaining them or testing them without the proper required notifications and risk assessments first).

We remind NSW Police Commissioner Michael Fuller that policy is not law. Public health orders are not law and we the people know this. Police are here to uphold law, not unconstitutional rules and policy. We stand in solidarity with Senior Constable Alexander Cooney and support his open letter to NSW Police Commissioner Michael Fuller, reminding Mr Fuller that:

NSW Police Force statement of values states: -

Each member of the Police Force is to Act in a manner which:
▪ Places integrity above all;
▪ Upholds the rule of law;
▪ Preserves the rights and freedoms of individuals;
▪ Seeks to improve the quality of life by community involvement in policing;              ▪ Strives for citizen and police personal satisfaction;
▪ Capitalises on the wealth of human resources;
▪ Makes efficient and economical use of public resources; and
▪ Ensures that authority is exercised responsibly.

The people of Coffs Coast region and Bellingen Shire are fully aware of their constitutional rights, their human rights and the corruption that is pervading the NSW Police force. We will NOT be intimidated.
