Many small coffee shops and even larger chains such as Starbucks offer a plethora of milk options for our coffees. However, any milk alternative (soy, almond, coconut, oat)  comes with an extra charge. Anywhere from 50 cents to a dollar. This doesn’t seem like much but it definitely adds up. Especially for those of us who are lactose intolerant. It’s not fair to penalize us for our bodies inability to process dairy products. There is between 30-50 million Americans who have an intolerance to lactose in some shape or form. Not to mention those people who are vegan and have chosen that life style for  health, environmental or some other reason. There’s no reason we should be charged more for the way our body works or the lifestyle we’ve chosen! Let’s make a change! Milk Freedom!!!
