The chicken and bacon toastie has been a staple item in the diet of the British public for generations. It has the ability to bring people together with it’s warm embrace and beauty. When it came to my attention that Costa Coffee had removed it from their menu, it caused me deep sadness as I’m sure it did with the rest of the Costa loving community. Life has just not been same without it. 

The start of this petition was in hope that not only the beautiful work of art that the toastie is would be brought back, but also the sense of warmth and community that came along with it would too. I believe that the success of this petition would also be the start of a chain of events leading to a happier more together society in Britain which has been severely lacking during these challenging times. It really is one such small and simple step we can all take to make the world a better place.
