Children are returning to school very SOON. They went an entire school year without seeing the faces of their teachers and peers. The emotional, physical and mental damage that this has done may never be undone. Our children have a right to free and appropriate education.  Sitting in a classroom for 6+ hours a day with cloth over their mouth blocking fresh air is NOT appropriate. The particles from COVID—19 are so small they pass through cloth masks and the N-95 masks. Masks are to be worn in medical settings under strict guidelines. Masks need to be parent choice. The NYS DOH as well as local DOH are no longer giving guidance, which means schools decide on their own and will be responsible for adverse reactions and side effects.

We have a voice and it needs to be heard.  We are no longer consenting for our children to wear masks UNLESS it is parent choice. 

Abuse by definition is “any recent act or failure to act on the parent or caregiver that results in death, serious physical or emotional harm, sexual abuse or exploitation, or an act or failure to act that presents an imminent risk of serious harm.” We can’t begin to understand the magnitude of harm that has been done by forcing children to wear masks. 

Schoharie County has about 31,000 people that reside in it. Of those 31,000-7 people tested positive on August 8, 2021. That does not constitute as being an uptick of COVID cases. It’s time to take back our parental rights!
