Due to the new omicron variant of covid cases of the disease have skyrocketed. Students are missing school again and getting more behind with work. Since the last spike in July cases have doubled, students went online last year with 10,000 cases but we go face to face with 20,000. The only way to flatten the curve is to isolate and vaccinate, having students packed into tight classrooms maskless is only making the problem worse.
