As of Monday, November 9, 2020, per a letter sent by the Coatesville Area School District's Transportation Department, all students being bused by Coatesville will have changed pick-up and drop-off times. This includes kids who go to PJPII, Collegium, St Joes and not just Coatesville.

The problem is the pick-up times. Most of the pick-up times are as early as 6 a.m. for students who do not start school until 8:15 a.m. These children are going to have to sit on the bus for two hours on the way to school (when they live only a few minutes away, in some cases).

On top of that, these students are going to have transfer points where they get off a bus and get on another bus at another school. This includes children as young as Kindergarten. 

This borders on the side of child abuse.

When I called and inquired, I was told this is to cut costs on buses and it was approved by the board. Then why do we have taxes increasing every year?

Sign this petition to have Coatesville School District's School board REVERSE this immediately!!!!!!

The afternoon buses don't have this madness - only the morning busing.
