Sub: Representation of Junior Executives in light of CIL OM dt. 08.08.2018 & OM dt. 23.06.2018
Ref: (i) CIL Office Memorandum vide no. CIL/C5A (PC)/Pay Revision 2017/2972 dated 08.08.2018 regarding pay revision of board level and below board level executives of CIL & its Subsidiary Companies w.e.f. 01.01.2017.
(ii) CIL Office Memorandum vide no. CIL/C5A (PC)/CMPS/2897 Dated: 23.06.2018 regarding Contribution towards Coal Mines Pension (Amendment) Scheme, 2018
With reference to above, few of our unaddressed grievances are submitted for your kind consideration
1. Upgradation of the pay scales to remove pay disparity and implement pay parity with other CPSEs, to resolve the existing pay anomalies in CIL.
2. Withdrawal of extra deduction because of increased contribution in CMPS to the tune of 7% of Basic and VDA (communicated vide OM Dated 23.06.2018 of CIL) and option to choose between CMPS and “CIL Executive Defined Contribution Pension Scheme” (NPS) immediately.
3. The PRP payable to any executive should not be less than the PLRS bonus paid to the non-executives and ensuring time bound payment of PRP.
It is most humbly requested to kindly consider our case in light of above facts and provide fair resolution to our genuine grievances at the earliest.
