Steven Loud started this petition to CNN and

In lieu of the 2020 "Super Tuesday" Primary Elections, there were longer than normal wait periods for voters to cast their ballots. Particularly at my voting site, there were only 20 voting booths; 10 for democrats and 10 for republicans. I waited about an 1hr 1/2 just to vote at the local Fiesta grocery store on South Main by NRG stadium.

Other voting poles like Texas Southern University had voters waiting up to 6-7 hours just to vote leading late into the night. Even as people were voting, national TV stations were already calling the winners late into the night. Something should be done about this and quick! This can possibly discourage the minority vote even though early voting is an option. Houston is growing with over 2.3 million people and counting. Having "limited" workers at each voting site registering and checking people in is absurd. If voting booths are malfunctioning, there should be better protocols in place to ensure that this doesn't effect the voting lines.

The city of Houston needs more booths, more workers and a system in place to bring about a faster turn around time for voters. Equality!

We are asking Harris County to effectively market early voting dates and locations for all voting poles at least 2 weeks prior to early voting dates. We are asking for more voting poles and workers at each site. We are asking the Harris County Clerk's Office (Diane Trautman) to better organize the voting process for the City of Houston.
