CNN recently wrote a story about a policy change in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Instead of highlighting the positive aspects of this policy change, or a neutral statement about the facts of this policy change, they decided to attack and disparage this policy and used this story as a political statement against the Church as a whole and used a click-bait headline to attack even further. 

Fidel Castro and others have had more neutral news coverage which shows this as either a direct attack or a complete misunderstanding of religions or religious institutions. Would they write similar scathing remarks about the Vatican? 

We recognize that all people, including CNN and its authors, have the right to free speech and free press. However, a news article should not be used as a political platform.

We are asking that CNN formally apologize for this bias in reporting and present an honest, neutral, and balanced story.
