Report on the Donald Trump Child Rape Case
This petition had 262 supporters
Presidential candidate Donald Trump has been ordered to appear in court on Dec. 16th, on charges of raping a 13-year-old girl in 1994, along with other associated crimes. The case is not frivolous: there are at least three witnesses and enough evidence that a Federal judge has ordered that the case proceeds.
It is unconscionable that these media outlets harp on endlessly about Hillary Clinton's emails, even when there is no actual evidence of wrongdoing, and in the latest "scandal" not even any accusation. That the story of a presidential candidate being ordered by a federal judge to appear on such serious charges would not be reported is an insult to objective, serious journalism and to the American people.
The woman who brought the charges against Trump scheduled a press conference today, but cancelled at the last minute due to a series of threats. It is now the media's responsibility to make the public aware of this case.
We demand that the networks fulfill the duty of their profession by reporting on this case in an election year when the stakes are high and our very democracy and national stability are at risk.
