There is a lack of media presence surrounding the ongoing issues of human trafficking in countries such as India. Without this media presence the vast majority of the public are not aware of the severity of this issue and the number of people affected on a daily basis. By providing more media coverage on this issue we can educate people on what to look for when travelling to these countries, how to avoid becoming a victim if you are a citizen living in a high risk area, and how we as the general public can do our part to limit the success rate of these attackers.
