This petition is made in response to the COVID 19 crisis. In hopes that our government will release a national stay at home order.

We need to blunt the curve. There is no medication or vaccines that is available to combat the spread of COVID 19. Therefore it is up to the people and most importantly the government to set the necessary guidelines in order to save lives. Our national government has refused to announce a national stay at home order even though this seems to be the only rational solution to an irrational virus. Our government (national or state) should not wait until hospitals are jam packed, out of beds, and ventilators to finally do what is right.  We continue to talk about blunting the curve and assisting those on the frontline but yet our government has not made a definite stance.
