Canada Euthanizes One Half Million Pets Annually
Jul 11, 2016 — In Canada, the fundraising dilemma is every bit as bad as in the United States. In fact, the Canadian Federation of Humane Societies reports that over 600,000 dogs are euthanized every year. As is the case in the U.S., one of the two main reasons for the high number of deaths in Canada too little money being raised to meet the needs. Very much as they do in the U.S. and much of the world, Shelters and Rescues mainly depend on asking for donations for funding.
