Frankfort High School is the only institution in the district that remains open on January 17th through the 19th, despite severe weather conditions. All other schools in the area have wisely chosen to close for safety reasons. The National Weather Service has issued warnings about weather conditions during this period, which could potentially endanger students' and staff's lives if they attempt to commute. We believe that our school should prioritize safety over attendance during such circumstances. We request that Frankfort High School aligns with the rest of the district by closing for this week due to these harsh weather conditions.
