Our schools should be safe spaces, not marketplaces.
Our local schools should be places for encouraging the development and education of our children, not an opportunity for Perth and Kinross Council to make a profit.
Selling space to advertise directly to school pupils is not in the best interests of our children. It has the potential to encourage materialism, places additional stresses and pressures on children and their families.
Perth and Kinross Council should abandon its plans to sell advertising in our schools now.
