I used to love going over this bridge, even though it made me nervous. The sound and vibration used to calm me. I want many more generations to enjoy this bridge. Many many great memories!

To our County Officials: What is wrong with you people? These bridges are sitting and rotting for no good reason!! The Arch Bridge has taken a beating with all the extra traffic! That Bridge will need repairs soon and what then??? We love our community and we want these bridges repaired so we can enjoy their beauty and restore traffic to minimize the wear on the Arch Bridge. Our community deserves this!! DO THE RIGHT THING! RESTORE OUR BRIDGES!!

These bridges are a huge part of Keeseville’s rich history. The blatant ignoring by certain county officials is unfortunate.

Even if they are not safe for vehicles, preserve them for their historical significance and maintain them for foot traffic.

Keeseville has the most beautiful setting with the Ausable running through it. The bridges are historic gems of NY state and should be preserved.

It had been shown in many other instances that preserving historic roadway spans and repurposing them for pedestrian use can play a significant role in economic renewal. Destroying these relics and scrapping the materials is not only unprofitable. It throws away an opportunity to generate income from new sources.
