The overwhelming cases of extreme animal abuse seem to be happening with more frequence, and many are young people.  Such is the case of the Bronx teen who roasted a live kitty beyond recognition. Asked why, she simply responded that she hates cats, and that it was done as a joke.  This woman's callousness is unspeakable, considering the seriousness of the crime. Since she--allegedly--already has a criminal background, it is of utmost importance that she does not walk away with a slap on the wrist.  Quite by the contrary, she represents a danger to society, and should be locked away for a long time. However, for this to happen, she must be tried as an adult.  Her trial is scheduled for July 15.

SUGGESTED LETTER:
Cheyenne Cherry tossed her ex-roommate's kitty, Tiger Lily into the stove where she was roasted alive beyond recognition.  When asked, Cherry simply said that she hated cats. 
 
It is well known that psychopath such as Jeffrey Dammer, who sadistically killed and ate his victims, started off sadistically killing defenseless animals.  They practice their cruel instincts on defenseless beings and will likely never stop there.
 
Cheyenne Cherry already had a criminal background, and now she shows absolutely NO remorse for the most cold blooded and cruel act she committed against a defenseless being.  This in itself is a very worrisome sign which puts her on the same line of psychopaths who start their blood careers by practising on animals. She represents a danger to society because with this type of personality NO ONE can tell when or where she will stop.
 
What will happen if Cherry starts hating small children or a defenseless elderly?  Will she toss them in the oven or throw them over a bridge?   This woman must be tried as an adult as she needs to be in jail for a long time.  Our society will not be as safe as it should with these types of criminals free to do as they please. 
 
Her web page is a reflection of a person who wants to be a gangsta.  She has been accused of assault, theft and breaking and entering into the young woman's apartment to vandalize it and toss bleach on the walls.  She is a junior career criminal and is a menace to anyone she meets. 
 
She claims to like watching Law & Order and probably thinks that since she's 17 she will get away with a slap on the wrist.  She needs to know the difference between TV and real life.
Please, make a statement to our courts that this is a horrible crime and should be given a maximum sentence and tried as an adult.
