Save Prince of Wales Park Whitby

Help the residents of a local community in Whitby to save their neighborhood park. The Town of Whitby intends to use 3 acres of the land to build a Hospice and parking lot that is 15,000 to 18,000 square feet in size. The Town also reserves the right to put telecommunications towers on the property of the Hospice in future.

This park is used by members of the neighbourhood on a daily basis, and is an integral part of the community, both for young families and pet owners. It is also the designated location for multiple sports teams in Durham Region. This is the only green space in the neighbourhood and its loss will be devastating to the members of this community who have resided in the area for well over 20 years.

Please sign our petition to help save this beautiful piece of nature that connects the children, pets and families of our community.
