Clear Brook High School's Class of 2024 class shirt is Astroworld/Travis scott themed despite the disastrous effects of the infamous Astroworld crowd crush. Travis Scott's negligence and lack of accountability at his Astroworld festival in November 2021 led to ten preventable deaths and hundreds of injuries. It is incredibly insensitive and appalling to profit off of this tragedy, occurring only 22 miles away from Brook, and this is not how our Class of 2024 should be represented. Prom funding is not worth the exploitation if these victims! Please spread the word about boycotting the shirts when they are being sold next week and sign this petition to help us discourage the school from selling them! I am hoping to reach a significant amount of signatures within the next few days so I can send this to administrators as a last request for the cancelation of the class shirt.
