I feel very strongly about this topic because as you may know, Benjamin is Jewish but still says the N-Word. I and many others have found it very uncomfortable seeing or hearing Benjamin saying the N-Word. The N-Word was first used to be a menacing and demeaning term to call slaves that were mostly of African descent. It is now used as an informal greeting for many Black Americans meaning "friend" or "companion". In this culture many Black Americans feel that someone of that is not of color can not say this previously menacing word, because it implies a negative connotation coming from descendants of the former oppressors. This is why I feel very strongly about Benjamin's use of this previously demeaning word that if used in the wrong context could end horribly for them. Please Benjamin, were just looking out for you, and no, being Jewish does not make you a person of color or a minority in this area.
