Clarkson University has told students that they will be going through their belongings and packing them up in order to move them out.  Telling students that they aren't allowed to come back and retrieve them ourselves.  This means that they will be invading any number of students' privacy and going through our valuables in our personal living quarters.  This is something that is unheard of even in this time of the pandemic.  We as students are not happy about it and we want our voice to be heard.  We don't care if it means we have to wait until a time when we can come and retrieve our belongings, but we feel that forcing us to let you go through our belongings is just wrong.  This petition is to show the number of students that are outraged at this and want a better solution.  For once want our way to be heard as in reality these are our belongings that we should have been able to get at the beginning of all of this.  I urge you as a student at Clarkson University if you are reading this then please, sign this petition and help us all get our point along to Clarkson.  And if you are faculty reading this.  Please lend us whatever help you can in getting a solution that the students want.  We may seem angry, but that doesn't mean that we aren't willing to lend you our ideas to help get a solution that we can all agree on.
