Reuben Z. Clitz started this petition to Clark Hunt and The Kansas City Chiefs

Let me start off by saying I am not trying to minimize or ignore what Kareem Hunt did. In February of 2018, Hunt was involved in an altercation with a woman in a hotel in which he kicked her in the face. No matter what she said or did to him, that act is indefensible. What happened that day was a terrible mistake that he made and he deserved every bit punishment that was given to him by the NFL. With that being said, I believe that Kareem Hunt should be brought back to where he belongs and that is with the greatest team in all of sports, the Kansas City Chiefs. Everyone has made mistakes, some worse than others. I believe that everyone regardless of what they did deserves a second chance and should get the opportunity to receive forgiveness. Kareem Hunt is not the same man today as he was back in February of 2018. He has taken anger management classes as well as substance abuse classes. He has gone around Ohio talking to kids about the importance of controlling their emotions and not making the same mistake that he made. I believe in a society where people get the chance to reform and learn from their mistakes and not be forever vilified for something they did in the past. I am asking you to help me bring Kareem Hunt back to Kansas City in the off season and show the world that the Chiefs organization believes in second chances by allowing him to suit up in a Chiefs uniform once again and play in front of the best fanbase in all of sports, the Chiefs Kingdom.
