Clark County Commissioners:

We request that you DENY the proposed R-3 rezoning of the lot on the southwest corner of Blue Diamond Road and Quarterhorse Lane (ZC-18-0107-DIAMOND HORSE, LLC). 

This decision is important to our neighborhood because the construction of a high-density apartment complex on this corner will negatively impact our safety and quality of life. For example, this massive proposed project does not consist of enough parking spaces on site to accommodate the complex's minimum number of residents, much less any guests or additional family members. These vehicles will be driving and parking on our low-volume residential streets, congesting intersections located near busy school bus stops. Our children play here and our elderly walk here. Injuries and fatalities will occur with this increased amount of overflow traffic and parking on our residential streets. 

Our community is strongly opposed to this proposed rezoning and apartment complex project. As working class homeowners, residents and families, we trust that you'll look out for our health and wellbeing by voting to DENY this proposed rezoning to R-3.
