Increase parking limit at KFC Haverhill to 90 mins and get parking charges overturned

The current time limit in the car park adjacent to KFC, Haverhill is 45 mins. This limit, which was decreased from the original in 2016 is far short of that needed for an individual to eat in the establishment, let alone a family or disabled. Civil Enforcement (who own the car park and who use ANPR) gave no notice of the change in limit and are quick to send ‘unsigned’ and scare tactics by form of letters, third parties and court papers. They manage many other sites, specifically another KFC in Huntingdon which has a wait limit of 90 minutes. Other food establishments have car parks managed by such companies but all seem to have at least a 90-120 mins stop over time. This company needs to address the issue, as obviously no surveys (in respect of timescales) have been conducted to ensure that the public have time to enter, park, order (which on average takes 20 mins from order to receiving food), eat, use toilet facilities and exit within the given timeframe. These fines implicated hit the local and now national papers and something needs to be done to ensure that Haverhill does not lose out yet again, due to greediness of these parking cowboys
