My wife and I own 3 properties in the city limits and have no children. I want my money back, I have no vacation and could use the $$$.

1. Freeze. Freeze them now.

2. Rebates. Then start talking about rebates.

I am a teacher and I understand the need for transparency. This feels like a violation of trust and it's feeling expensive on all accounts.

Five lawsuits are expensive, and so is a tax increase. The school board needs to take this seriously.

Can I also cash out my sick leave to help pay for a new home? I didn’t know that was an option for school employees. This policy needs to end for privileged superintendents.

I am tired of wondering about what shenanigans our superintendent is trying to get away with, and whether our school board will actually hold him (or anyone at central office) to any standards of conduct commensurate with his salary.

I agree! Time for accountability before we tax the system out of existencep

The public needs to know that our taxes are being used appropriately and effectively and with the upmost integrity.

The gross mismanagement of citizens tax dollars needs to be addressed. It is not ok for the salaries in the admin to have increased so sharply while the teachers in the trenches have had to continue to scrape by with a 1-2 percent increase. The teachers keep the wheels on the bus folks! Meanwhile you have a superintendent who cashed in large sums of vacation money while he sits in the beach in Costa Rica. He needs to go. Immediately.
