Keep pedestrians at Bradburn safe!
This petition had 245 supporters
Bradburn is wonderful and our community is growing! More businesses, more homes and more traffic.
This summer the City of Westminster installed a crosswalk at the intersection of 118th Place and Tennyson Street. While this effort is appreciated, it has caused confusion and a greater danger to pedestrians who attempt to cross 118th Place while walking to or from Whole Foods and our other neighboring restaurants and shops.
1. The crosswalk is hard to see. Drivers are not able to slow down quickly enough when pedestrians are crossing the street.
2. Residents of Bradburn, the Academy School and public traffic are not fully aware of what should be done now that the crosswalk is in place. Some vehicles will stop at white line, others will not. This dangerous intersection has now become very dangerous.
The safety of the pedestrians should come first! Please sign this petition to show your support and demand that the City of Westminster install a 4 -way stop at 118th Place and Tennyson to ensure the safety of the pedestrians walking within our community.
