I'm signing because I believe the biodiversity of this land and the potential negative impact of this development far outweigh the benefit of adding another church and parking lot to our community.

I don't think church buildings should come before caring for creation. Signed, a pastor's wife.

This pond and surrounding area needs to be protected. Rather than developing the area, the city of West Kelowna should purchase this sensitive land and rezone the location as protected park land.

Churches and associated developments have no place and no right to be building in environmentally sensitive areas. It is not essential to ANYONE in the area for another church, but it sure is essential for the flora and fauna in the area. Another cash grab by the cities to be honest. Stop destroying what makes this area beautiful. City of West Kelowna, stop being lazy and find another (and appropriate) location for this unnecessary and unwanted amenity.

We have property in the area and disagree with the council approving a rezone especially with a covavent in place.

I believe in ecological diversity and protection over "development". Another church adds no value compared to Mother Nature's wonders, which shiuld be the "church" we visit with care, awe, reverence and wonder.
