The corner of Pennington and Swan Street in West Burlington has gone long enough without placement of stop signs. Kids who go to and leave school walk down Pennington and cross Swan st. I have seen kids almost get hit and cars almost crash at a high rate of speed coming down north on Swan Street. I have asked in the past that police portal the area however I know and understand they can't sit there everyday. There is 2 daycare providers that live in the 400 and 500 block of Swan. There are many families on the 400 and 500 block that have kids who play outside the yield sign is not enough. I have watched drivers ignore this sign to many times in the 10 years we have live here. I'm asking for help before it is too late and someone's child is injured or killed at this corner. Large groups of kids use this corner to walk home from school.  Please help this change happen.
